Steve Jobs shared in his June, 2005 commencement speech to Stanford University graduates,
“You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers... If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it."

Mate Fit
It
may seem odd to think of ourselves as a product that needs marketing, but your
profile will be lined up with 10, 20, or 40 other profiles. It is
a competition: you want to “sell” your “product,” but you really only want to
sell it to a certain range of buyers – that is, the type of people that you would want to date. You are marketing yourself to the singles
community in many ways and forums; thus, you need to ensure that you spend more time developing an
authentic, effective representation of yourself than the time you spend marketing the
kitchen table and chairs you want to list on eBay.
Job Fit
Having worked in Human Resources for over 25 years, I have seen when there is a job fit and when there is not. It's not personal; not everyone is right for every job and every company. I had an experience myself when I was on a job that was not a fit. It was awful. It was tough and quite stressful. I am glad I had that experience and will be more careful not to put myself back in that situation. I have also had the honor to be in a position that was a great fit for my values and goals. I am hoping I can assist you to be in a job that feels right to you. AND you are able to be more authentic in that role.
